You got it! I think we absolutely have a troll - absolutely posting under different names, getting a rise out of some of us and sitting back for a big fat laugh over it! I'm laughing too, but I'm sure not fooled

Seriously? You think "troll" before thinking of Dis-er's reknown abilities to solve problems large & small with expertise, caring, and compassion???![]()

Isn't that the definition of what being a troll is about? What cracks me up is when folks start alluding to the possibility that the OP is a troll, and others jump to the defense of ....the troll. Then fights break out between those groups. And the troll is just sitting back in their chair watching and laughing.

I almost never think Troll, unless someone is obviously baiting people with topics which obviously provoke strong responses and have a good chance of getting people points ect.
The idea that people think it's funny to get sympathy for pretend problems just boggles my mind. What on earth can they get out of it? i don't even see why it would be funny. In all seriousness, what do you think is wrong with people like this? Depression?![]()
But seriously, how does someone get a kick out of it? Don't get me wrong, I laugh at almost anything from bad jokes to when people get hurt (not too hurt) doing dumb stuff BUT this seems... well, it seems disturbed. Sort of like a Munchausen by Proxy but, thankfully, without the real world victim. KWIM?
hoping to lure kind, compassionate, sensitive kids away. These people USE unsuspecting kindness & compassion for their own kicks.

There are also other discussion boards that have a thing against the Dis, so they send out a troll every once in a while and then they all sit back and watch together.
I kind of like troll hunting.
