A little panic...

We are in the midst of planning our commitment ceremony on the Wonder May 30. We had booked the private room at Palo, but now since my little brother's flavor of the month canceled we don't meet the minimum number of guests and they may cancel the reservation. I'm screaming right now! I am going to offer to pay for the invisible guest just to keep the reservation. Any other suggestions? I would smack my brother, but that won't really help further my cause, make me feel momentarily better yes, but not a real solution.

I think that if you show up with 11 rather than 12, you will be fine. I wouldn't say anything about it to DFTW or Palo mgt yet. A lot can happen on 2 months.

Definitely don't say anything. Just show up with however many people you have and be done with it. Not like they can do anything about it when you are standing there, ready for the event. The more you try to fix this, the worse it is going to be. Just show up and say you lost somebody along the way.

I would have loved to have played stupid at the podium as i stood there with my party of eleven, however they already know. Disney saw the cancellation and put it all together. As it turns out all is well because they have just moved us to a table in the main Palo dining room. To me as long as we are in Palo i am happy. When we get on board i will check with the Palo manager and see if it has been reserved; maybe we will get lucky. If not we are still having a commitment ceremony aboard the Disney Wonder and it doesn't get better than that in my book.
