Last week I sent my preference letter in to shoreside concierge for our upcoming cruise on the Fantasy. I know that communications with Disney overall have been strained recently with an increase in business and an employee shortage. I know that response times have been longer and frustration levels higher.
But I wanted to share that there is still a bit of Disney magic working behind the scenes. You can see it in in the response from shoreside after I mentioned that my husband and son were disappointed to miss out on our initial Star Wars cruise because my DH tested positive for covid:
"I can only hope your husband and son have chosen the right side and though the Jedi will not be traveling on Disney's Fantasy, keep a look out as you most certainly do not want to become a stinky cod fish."
It's little touches like this that set Disney apart.
