a little confused on National discounts

It seems like there are a lot of DISers who really know how to work the National web site!

I am thrilled with a rate of $143 (including tax) for a week, full size car, EA. It's from the Entertainment Book base rate + one $15 off weekly rental coupon.

Could I possibly HOPE for a better rate than that?

How do you do more than one coupon - I only saw one box for coupon & contract codes.

While I'm very happy with the deal I got...I just can't bear to pass up on a bigger bargain if
it's out there!

(forgot to add - I also have DC and Sams if that might be lower. I tried Sam's first through their member web site but it came up $144 base rate with no coupons and not including tax)

Only one coupon and one contract code can be used at a time. It's the various combinations of coupon and contract codes that might give you a larger discount. Another poster mentioned starting with the 15% off button on the National Website, but that's never worked for me, I get an error message about incompatible offer or something. Keep checking the rates after you reserve, they always change

thank you...now I understand! I will try to mix the Sams, DC & Entertainment codes and coupons from time to time.

The DC Contract code and the DC "One Free Day" coupon code (also, from DC member's website) combined generally give the largest discount. You don't mention when you are going.....If it's after September 30, you can combine the DC contract code with the online 1Free Day Disney Vacation Coupon, below:

the catch: You must book w/ online coupon through the page, where it says "To Cars"
