A little bit of Disney Magic to share

Wow, that's really cool. What a wonderful memory that will always be! Did the CM just start talking to you and then make up that song? That's amazing!

Hope you had a great anniversary trip!

We had a great anniversary trip...it was my families first trip to WDW..not to be the last :lmao:. He made up the song after he had talked to us and asked where we were from and how we had met each other.

We were wearing the 2" badges we got from POP, that said we were celebrating an anniversary....the Disney CM wrote "19" on them when we checked in. I also made it a habit to speak to any CM I saw, even if I only said "hello", and to try and initiate a conversation if I could. He obviously was there to entertain the guests and we were quite interesting I'm sure. It was me and my DW and our four children. Several of us, me included had on Mickey/Minnie ears. So yes he asked me about us, but I'm sure it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't spoken to him first. My kids thought it was kinda silly to talk to everyone, but it got us this song, it got us FP's to FOTLK after Kat, my DW, started a conversation with a CM at the central FP machines in AK while I was getting FP's for EE I think, which we probably wouldn't have seen if we hadn't of gotten the FP's. And if we hadn't of gone to see FOTLK then we wouldn't have been outside the theater to meet the singer. So Disney magic may require some time to develope, but it's the little things you do that put you in a situation/location/time that allow it to happen. So, talk to the CM's, you never know what you may experience/learn, and I know it makes their day when a guest is pleasant and interested in what they do, instead of just worrying about the line to dumbo, or snagging that secret place for the parade, you know the one that blocks the view of all the terminally ill wheelchair children next to the castle? yes that one.
