Im all out of ideas so I thought Id ask for advise here. First, a little background. We are having a WDW wedding but because our ceremony cannot take place until 10pm, we are having a pre-ceremony dinner. We will then have a short reception (basically an extended cocktail hour) after the ceremony. (Very odd I know.) Anyway, I decided not to wear my gown to the dinner and have found a simple informal wedding dress that still makes me look somewhat like a bride to wear to the dinner. We plan on getting ready prior to the dinner so that we will only have to change clothes between the dinner and the ceremony. Oh yea we plan on taking our formal photos before the dinner. So Ill get ready, put on my bridal dress, take photos, change into dinner dress, dinner, change into bridal dress, ceremony.
First Question: Im terribly in need hairstyle ideas that will work with our scenario. My plan is to wear a veil and tiara during the ceremony, but I would prefer to just wear my hair during the dinner. Given that we have a limited amount of time to change, do any of you have any hairstyle suggestions that would make it easy to slap on a tiara and veil but still look appropriate with my informal dinner dress?
Second Question: Im perhaps a worrier and Im having trouble with Disneys preferred timeline. Im attempting to get a rough estimate of the timeline of our day. (Plus if we arent right we might have to move our dinner location since it isnt available until 7pm.) Heres what Ive come up with. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and we have allowed 20 minutes to get from the AK(dinner location) and 10 minutes to get to our ceremony. Anybody see any major problems?
2:30pm - Girls start getting ready
3:30pm - Boys state getting ready
4:30pm - Photos begin
6:30pm - Bridal Party returns to Resorts to change
7:00pm - Everyone arrives at Dinner Location
9:00pm - Bridal Party departs for Resorts to change
9:30pm - Guests depart Dinner Location for Ceremony Location
10:00pm - Bridal Party arrives at Ceremony Location
10:00pm - Guest arrive and enter Ceremony Location
10:30pm - Ceremony begins
Thanks SO Much!
