How are you andFran?
Just rode it again for the first time in 20 years.
I run a little store and I need to go out and buy product. Choices. Can't pack and shop at the same time. You want to shop?![]()
This was supposed to say 10 years. Do not know where 20 came from.
I have a love/hate relationship with shopping. My preference is for online shopping. If I am getting something I really want, I enjoy it. Otherwise, it just feels like a chore rather than a treat.

Today I know the meaning of 'shop til you drop', lol.
Worked til noon then headed over to JCP outlet store cause I heard they were having a big sale. Got there & they are going out of business!! I love that store. So 3 hours later I drag myself home. Tell my daughter (who had just took a nap) that they were going out of business & she talks me into going back with her......sooooo another 4 hours....
Ibuprophen & bed.

Excellent! How did the lens work out?
Are you pleased with your shots?
The new lens worked really well and the pictures are ever more clearer and sharp.
When I have some time, i will upload some pictures from the wedding unedited.
I was pleased with the new lens for wide shots which is great. But for close up shots, the 17-50 doesn't have that up close shots like the 70-200mm f/2.8 type lens. But this was my first time trying it out and it is great. Now I am really looking forward to using it in a couple of weeks at DL.

What lens did you buy?
Great! If you don't have time to load pictures of the wedding, I look forward to seeing the lens in action at DL.
I bought a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC lens for the Nikon. It is a nice lens which isn't as expensive as the Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 lens which is around $1400 for a new one. I got it for $500.
I will try to upload it on flickr tonight before I go to bed. But I have been up since 5am this morning since i was helping set up the wedding today.
