Well now, while I've been entrenched on Team Codger, this doesn't sit well. I mean why would she choose to sit there? And if mobility was a big issue that she needed to take a close table wouldn't she choose the chair?

Really, why sit next to the kid if you don't want him to glance in your direction.

I was assuming (crap) that this was a booth and old lady and child were sitting back to back with each other.

No, I don't like this new development at all.....

As someone with mobility issues I would have taken the bench. The chair would be no good unless it was elevated and had armrests.

I don't know - it's crazy. But it certainly is more upbeat than most threads that start out the way this one did. Who would have guessed after seeing the first few pages that everyone would end up doing the Hokey Pokey?!
