A "knock off" Ugg??

LAMOs are nice boots with shearling inside. They can be pricey but I've bought them at TJMaxx for pretty cheap. I picked up a black and a brown pair for myself last year. I love them.

Here's a link. http://www.lamosheepskin.com/

I've seen them on Amazon too.

My DD10 would like Uggs for Christmas but is fine with a knock off. I'm just having a hard time spending $140 for boots she'll grow out of before next winter. It's not completely out of the question as I think she will get a lot off use out of them.

I looked at Bear Paws and she really liked them until we realized that she would have to order a women's size. The women's boots are taller (8" versus the kids styles at 6").

Anyone know of another brand that is of reasonable quality but more in $60 to $70 range of "Ugg like" boots?

If it makes a difference, I think she would wear an Uggs Big Kids size 5... which I'm guessing is about a women's 5????

Just so you know, a kid's size 5 is a women's size 7. Uggs usually run a little big, so if she's a 1/2 size go w/ the smaller full size. I bought my 11DD the women's Kirkland brand "uggs" at Costco. She's loving them! They are longer, but I rolled them down and gave them a cuff, much easier to wear. They are great quality and just like Uggs, which I have a few, because I wear kid's sizes and my feet are no longer growing! The Costco ones are $39.95. Can't beat it! I might buy a black pair for myself...

Target has some and they are on sale this weekend.

Dicks sporting goods has bearpaw boots on sale for their Black Friday special for around $39.y daughter has a pair that have held up great and are nice. I had already purchased her another pair from Macy's for $80 that I will be taking back because I ordered the others online today :).

My DD purchased Bearpaw boots with her own money. She looked at Uggs, but decided that they weren't worth it. She didn't want to be in the trap of having a brand name when she actually liked the Bearpaws better, if she had in fact liked the UGGs better she would have purchased them. I personally like the look much better, and they are way cheaper. I don't know if my DD's foot will grow before next year so I think investing that much money is silly, but it was her choice, not mine.

Not sure if you have a Marshalls near you? I scored a pair of cute-a-loo Uggs there last week for $50! They were going quick though...

You're a lifesaver! I had completely forgotten the size difference between kids and women's sizes. Luckily, I ordered through my Amazon Prime and could change my order. I ended up ordering Bear Paws as I checked Costco and they no longer sell those boots (would have been my first choice). I did get a pretty good deal on the Bear Paws... $32 and free shipping!

I own both Emus and BearPaws. I love both. My Emus have not held up as well as the Bearpaws though. They do make shorter versions of the Bearpaws. I bought mine online from amazon and they have a bazillion choices.

As for sizes, A kids 5 is a women's 7. (You add 2 to the kids size to figure out the adult size.)

Old Navy has some on sale this weekend for $15. Bought myself and my dd some pretty good quality too.
