Everyday that I have with Jude is a great day! That said, Jude has had several great days in a row. In fact, since the last update, things have been pretty stable. The Deramaxx is agreeing with him more. Some days he will eat his dog food, the EN, the Dental Canine, and some days he wants "people food". He can have anything he wants and I am always happy to set out the "buffet". When all else fails, he will eat Zukes or a filet mignon, and then later on surprise me by finishing his dog food. I like to minimize the beef because it doesn't always agree with him but he needs to eat to take the Deramaxx and besides, we LOVE him and want him to be as happy and as healthy as he can be. He loves riding in the car, chasing the rabbits and today when I wasn't home, one of DS#3's friends let himself in. Jude is still "on patrol" and his friend backed out of the door real quick. Jude is a great dog but no one walks into the house without permission. If I go to the door or say come in, Jude will do nothing except greet you with a smile and a wagging tail. So far he seems to be able to empty his bladder and has a good stream first thing in the morning and later in the day. In the evening he has to go a lot more frequently and there is obvious bleeding but it settles down and he is able to sleep all night. If its cloudy and cold, he is happy to sleep in. He takes famotidine twice a day, carafate twice a day and the deramaxx once. So far, so good. Thank you for all of your prayers and good wishes. Happy New Year!

 Yeah, Minky has made more than one salesman back off the porch. People don't think of poodles as great watch dogs, but they are. And they don't bark unless there's something to be concerned about (at least, that's true of my standard.)

It sounds like Jude is doing really well. Hope that continues!

Gee-so glad you shared that:eek:

That's great to hear, Dawn! I had been thinking about you and him probably about the time you posted this and was wondering how he was doing.

I know of a standard named Jordan that thwarted a car theft. They caught the guy and he told the cops that he was attacked by a rottwieler with curly hair!:rotfl2:

So glad to hear Jude's having good days, hope they continue!

Thanks for the update. So glad to know Jude is enjoying some good times right now!

I'm so happy to hear Jude has been doing well. I've been thinking of him lots! Hope he continues to feel this good!

 My crazy neighbor called the police one time and told them that we had a vicious mongrel with an animalistic bark. I kid you not. The cop came in and there was our animalistic poodle stretched out in front of the fireplace. Interestingly, the cop found the neighbor hiding in our bushes trying to find out what the cop was going to say to us. Let's just say, the cop had plenty to say...to HIM>

It's so great to read some good news about Jude, Dawn.

Happy New Year to both of you! :)
