Welcome back! Glad you had a great time. I have to agree with you on the Candlelight Processional. It is just a fantastic production!

We LOVED Candlelight Processional. I would do it again.

Welcome home. Your trip looked fabulous. I loved all the photos. Won’t be long until baby Dominic arrives and I’m glad you made it home before he does. Hope Michelle is doing ok.

We did have a close call while we were gone. Dominic was waiting for us to come home before he made his appearance.

We threw a surprise Christmas party for my daughter and her wee family yesterday as they are traveling to Denmark to her in-laws this year. They were originally going on the 17th but have brought it forward as new travel restrictions/worries about omicron come into play and now leave on Monday! I will miss them and the grandkids so much. Thank goodness for technology so we can at least video call. On a positive note though it means my house is fully decorated and all my shopping is done and wrapped bar 1 person’s gift but I at least know what I’m hoping to do there and I have a back up plan if it doesn’t work out so all good . Just need to put my Turkey order in at the butchers and but trifle ingredients and I’m good to go

I love that y'all did this. The grands got to have 2 Christmases.

Glad you had a wonderful trip! The Candlelight Processional really is something special. One of the best holiday activities Disney puts on. Looking forward to reading about this trip.

That's now in his wheelhouse. We're lucky when he watches John Paul for bit alone.

Wishes for a safe, quick delivery for Michelle. My "baby" is Dominic, too...but he's 27

I have a very full heart today.

We welcomed Dominic into the world today. He tried to come Thursday while we were still in Disney World, but stayed put until today. He was born @ 2:16 pm. Both mother and baby are doing well.



Due to Covid protocols only Jimmy and I were able to be present at the hospital. I had to leave when they moved Michelle and Dominic to their room. I was very honored to share this special time with them. I'm not posting anything on Facebook or Instagram until Michelle posts. I did get her permission to share a photo on here. Everyone says he looks just like John Paul. If you look real close you can see he's wearing his first Disney outfit. It the Mickey Christmas plaid onesie we picked up last week.

Not too long after his birth we got more good news from Danielle. She had applied for a profession internship with Disney in Hospitality Leadership Food and Beverage. This was the special thing I asked for all to keep in mind. She had her Zoom interview while we were in Disney and today she got the call that she had been given the position. She will no longer be the lowest of the low in the Disney pyramid. Her internship starts January 23rd and ends June 11th. She will be a salaried employee. She will be able to stay at Flamingo but will have to move apartments. She will have to share with a fellow intern. She can't live with other CPs since she may be working over them. She was told she would be working in Disney Hollywood Studios but not where. This is her dream and can lead to a full time leadership position. I may be losing her to Disney.
