Just off the phone with the Doctor !!Judy came thru surgery well and is in recovery !! Her doctor is sooooooo nice. He thanked me for watching the kids for her !! I should hear from her later this afternoon when she is somewhat awake , but he said not till mid afternoon at the earliest !! Thanks for your concern and well wishes as always !!My Dis buddies are the best !!

It is so great to read your side of our meet (which was way too short!!) - I have started our TR now and the first update is about our DISmeets, so there is a picture of three beautiful ladies at Epcot!

Thanks Christine !! Judy will be bugging out tomorrow to be released , she is NOTa good patient at all !!Just wants to get home !!!!

I thought I wanted to stay one more night last yr after my major surgery, but they send ya packing these days! Once home, I was so glad to be home!!

Enjoying the TR, but gotta agree, those swirly thingys are making me dizzy!

Carol just leaves that Disser stuff to me !!She says when she went with family in June they all had to follow Rosie's schedule Glad she listened cuz Judy didn't and then complained cuz the CS places were jammed up

Continuing onto Day 2 and our Safari Day !!!!

We were up and on our way to Animal Kingdom and arrived shortly after Rope Drop which was early that day Our first stop was for It's a Bug's Life which all enjoyed and Barb "LOVED it " We checked out the Tree of Life a bit on our way in and then headed over to Camp Minnie Mickie as we definately wanted to fit in Festival of the Lion King. We had seats up front and were in the Wart Hog Section . I always take loesy oix in there between th fast movement and the poor light so this was about the best shot I got

Again all enjoyed it an Barb LOVED it

We lucked out and saw Pochantas on the Trails and all were excited to get their pix taken with her and her autograph !! We basically then took our time checking out all the shops and any animals we saw , like birds and monkeys as we slowly made our way to the front for our 3 hour Back stage Safari!!!

Unfortunately they do not allow pix on the Back Stage , but we saw the feed barns, the kitchen where they make up various special diets , we saw the giraffe barn complete with a giraffe , we were actually on the other side of the glass where you watch the vets at Rafikis , they took us to the aviary which totally freaked out Carol who has a BIRD phobia !!But we learned about how Guam's birds are extinct on Guam and cannot be relocated back there but are flourishing at Disney and other places , we had a small snack and a free Backsatge safari mug was given to each of us !!Then it was time for our Safari We basically went on the same safari as normal but the commentary was much more in depth and we stopped more . Here are a few decent shots I got

Our Guide was awesome and we said our goodbyes and Barb said "I Loved It!!!

The timing was perfect as we headed towards the front again

Of course Barb Loved it !!!!!
We headed to Magic Kingdom after the parade for our Ressie's at Tony's !!Stay tuned for our first MK visit !!!

It became quite the joke !!Everything we did we would say "Barb did you like it and she would reply "I LOVED it " and it was obvious she did Those are the Treasured Memories we have each time we do a trip with them !!

I think I remember Barb!! Is she the one who exclaimed about once a minute during Illuminations how awesome this was?? I thought she was lovely and it was wonderful to see and hear her obvious delight.

I just realised that we nearly could have met at AK that day as well. Katharina and I spent the evening there and arrived just when the parade was about to start - we tried to dash away before it arrived and headed to EE. If you had been between the exit and Asia, you would most likely having seen us on the parade route. Katharina was not impressed with me forgetting about the time the parade would run and then I also thought the parade would go around the other way.

No I missed out on Halloween and was making sure I didn't miss Thanksgiving !!Which reminds me not only do I get free Trips I get a Free Turkey too !!!

Everyone was excited to see the castle !!!!

We rode the Carrousel

[Tony's was delish and we all had a pix taken in front of this

After a delish supper we went on the porch and were able to catch the Night Time parade , which Barb LOVED

After the Parade we caught the bus back to Pop , stopped to fill our mugs and stop in the gift shop to see my wonderful CM friend Elisa , who later in the trip proved just how wonderful she was .
Coming up a Morning at MK!!!
