I made dd chicken cutlets for her last “at home” meal. We ordered chicken fried rice from the local Chinese restaurant and had green beans as sides. Strange combo, but what she wanted. Today we’re on the road to OH, so dinner will probably be rest stop subs.
Last night’s dinner was fabulous. We started with a glass of champagne and an ahi tower. As entrees hubby, had a porterhouse steak and I had the 6oz filet mignon. Sides were corn cream brûlée and jalapeño potatoes au gratin. To end the evening in celebration of our anniversary, they served us a mini version of their butter cake with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. Perfect!
Not sure what dinner will be tonight. I wanted today to be a “chores” day and then plan some fun for tomorrow, but hubs has convinced me to take the weekend off and relax. We’ll see how that goes.
