A is for Artist Point

Great review; I had to laugh at Mr. Incredible! But I love scallops and I want more than three! I even like them at Red Lobster. :)

thank you so much for this review and the photos. We are dining at AP for the very first time next Wednesday night on our first night dinner. Can't wait! DH will definitely have the salmon... scallops are more my style.

Artist Point is great! Their signature dish is salmon that the server brings out on cedar plank and plates it up right at your table. They also have a beef tenderloin that melts in your mouth and for the adventurous person they also have buffalo sirloin, (taste a little better than steak), wild boar, and venison pot stickers. If you enjoy wine they have a great wine selection all from the pacific northwest. One more thing, they have a mushroom soup to die for. I love Artist Point. Service has always been great too!

Thanks for the review, I enjoyed it! I like the one-review concept also -- less commitment! hehee

FYI, I dined with some friends last week, and my host prepared salmon on the grill, cooked on a cedar plank. Since he is a home builder, he buys planks of cedar at the lumber supply and cuts it into cooking-sized sections! He soaked the plank in water for an hour, put the salmon on top, placed on the grill and left it alone till the fish flaked with a fork. OH MY, it was the MOST delicious salmon I have ever had! And very economical to make at home! ;) They also sell cedar planks at Whole Foods (a little more pricey, but very convenient!)
