A Honeymoon Six Years in the Making! - A June 2009 PTR

How exciting a honeymoon trip! I too am guilty of using exclamation points, parantheses and ........... in several things I type :lmao:

I tried TGM, but apparently I just didn't get it. I much preferred my guide books, but I know some people swear by him.

Can't wait to hear more of the plans :goodvibes

Oh, you are going to have so much fun -- both planning and taking the trip! I am along to read all about it!

We honeymooned in Disney this past summer, and are going back 3 times this year (by the end of the year, it'll be 6 trips total in just over 3 years, lol). Personally, I see no need for TGM - DH & I generally sleep in, then head to whatever park sounds fun (or where we've made an ADR)... and we've never had issues with riding the things we want to ride. Besides, it'll be your honeymoon, even if it's 6 years later, and honeymoons should be relaxing trips. ;)

We do like the dining plan - did the regular dining plan on our first two trips, and deluxe on our honeymoon... since we're buying AP's this year, we may not do the dining plan in March, but I'm still crunching numbers to see what the better deal will be.

Some TS recommendations - places that we really like:
Citrico's @ the Grand Floridian --- the BEST meal we had on our honeymoon (2 TS credits on the dining plan)
Le Cellier @ EPCOT's Canada pavilion --- we eat here on every trip! Haven't had a bad meal yet, and one of the best dining plan values, at only 1 TS credit
Mama Melrose @ Hollywood Studios --- good Italian food, not usually very busy (we've been able to get a table more than once without an ADR, even at busy meal times)
50's Prime Time Cafe @ Hollywood Studios --- good food, fun atmosphere
Yak & Yeti @ Animal Kingdom --- we were pleasantly surprised with both the food & the service here on our honeymoon
Bongo's @ DTD --- not on the dining plan, but really good Cuban food... it's owned by Gloria Estefan

Hmm, I can't think of any others right now... those are our favorites, although we're not eating at any of them except Mama Melrose on our March trip... .we're trying a bunch of new places this time around!
