I just watched the tribute to Mickey Mouse on "Good Morning America". Wow, 75 years ago today "Steamboat Willie" prem-ear-ed in New York!! Way to go, Mickey!!!!

Isn't it amazing? Mickey has been entertaining the world for 75 years!

ABC had their special on this morning and I know that Eisner is going to be at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World for a special event commemorating Mickey's 75th. I wonder if they will be doing anything on the Magic and Wonder.

It figures...today was the first day I have missed GMA all year!!! The one show I really wanted to see.

I was out buying bagels to bring into work to celebrate Mickey's birthday....when the office folks asked why we were celebrating I told them....MICKEY IS 75 TODAY!......yep...I got the LOOK !!! Some people just don't get it!!!

Also got news reports here in England about Mickey's Birthday! He is looking remarkably young for his age: wish I knew his secret!

Look out for tv advertisement on Christmas Day (ABC channel). Disney Magic has had short film made for airing!

I goofed. For some odd reason I thought Mickey's birthday was OCTOBER 18th!! So last month we ordered a cake from the bakery and celebrated. We got all of our Mickey (and Minnie) dolls out and lit candles and sang Happy Birthday.

Tonight I guess we'll have to do it again!!!!

(btw, they did look at me weird when I told them what I wanted written on our cake!)
