You! What about ME!!! This is definitely one of those "two-sides-to-the-coin situations. (But as far as the long-term, it's a plus!)

We stayed at POFQ on my first trip in Feb. 2006, then at POR in Nov. 2006 just missing you at Alfredo's. I found that out by reading your TR from that year .

Glad to hear they are indeed having the party on Nov. 1st. I've always thought it would be a fun party to attend. We've done the Pirate and Princess Party and loved the atmosphere (and how there were no lines ).

Not only did I hear it from the Mouse's mouth, so to speak (!), but now all the other websites are posting the last MNSSHP date as Sunday, November 1st.

This works out so much better for us!

And so, in honor of this....

....and just because I am trying not so patiently to pass the time until I can make our DVC ressie...

It's really too busy Halloween night at DTD to do any real shopping.

You are going to LOVE going in Oct. We went last Oct for the first time and the MNSSHP was a HUGE hit. DD7 was just listening to the CD the other day and dancing around the kitchen and DS8 was angsting that he told Goofy he'd see him next year. I told DS that I'm sure Goofy would understand, we are not going again this year as DD12 can't miss school in 7th grade.

This is why I'm so glad that Jersey Week comes early this year.... Tricia will be in 8th grade and cannot afford to miss half a week! Luckily, she is a very good student and will be able to make up the work.

Fortunately, too, there are so many students taking off that most teachers don't give big assignments or tests that week, bless their hearts!

The past two Jersey Weeks always fell right between the end of the MNSSHPs and the start of the MVMCPs! We are very lucky this year!

That's a good point.

Well, when you're 13 its usually more about the costumes than the candy, anyway. Perhaps we won't need to trick-or-treat on the 31st so long as they know they have the party the next night!

We will definitely purchase the party soundtrack while we are there. We listen to the Spectro and Wishes CDs all the time!
