kathy,
I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your friend's baby. This makes me so sick to my stomach, I cannot fathom this ever happening. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

[sorry if I am intruding in this thread, but I have followed it and read this devastating news .... and felt the need to share ... May God, friends and family help them thru this terrible, dark time.]

Thank you. I actually got nauseous when I left the family's home. And I hope you've enjoyed the Pickle thread. We've had a lot of fun here.

Yes Janet, we have had a lot of fun here. Crazy fun. Gosh, post with us. The more the merrier! I need all the help I can get, if you haven't noticed that already. LOL

Hugs, Kathy. Again and again. :) And thank you and Christine for your kind words.

:grouphug: I think many of us who have a heart for Disney also have hearts that feel intensely, and so we take in and are deeply touched by tragedy.

Your trip is very important - Walt wanted DL and WDW to give guests a way to leave the hum-drums and difficulties of everyday life behind for awhile. Things can happen - and will - just about anywhere. So while our hearts go out to the families intimately effected - in a way, we must go on and plan and enjoy and look forward to our visit...someone gave their life so we can do just that!!

Beautifully said and so true:hug:

And I hope you've enjoyed the Pickle thread. We've had a lot of fun here.

Definitely ... it lifted my spirits on many a night ...

Now if only I can learn how to quote people and put them in one post.

Sure will. I think I see a little of myself in you :goodvibes

Janet, :welcome: to the pickle thread! You are not intruding at all!! We have fun and post about all kinds of things - what began as helping Tracy choose a resort has turned into a group of new friends, so we are delighted you've joined us! :goodvibes

(and we get to "help" Tracy by giving our opinions on restaurants and attractions and everything else in WDW!!)

Ah, Janet. I'm glad we've been able to provide you with some laughs. Laughing is great for the soul. I love to laugh.

Well, at least I don't have to get ready for bed. I'm still in my jammies and haven't moved my royal caboose all day. I did wash my face and brush my teef though. :teeth: Honest!!

So now, I'm going to pour myself a glass of wine and start planning a couple of days and decide which, if any, dining plan we're going to get.

Quoting more than one is still tricky for me, so lots of times I just copy and paste then hi-light it in the post and click on the little quote icon.

People tell me the real way to do it is by clicking on the little quotation marks in the bottom right corner of the post - next to the quote tab...you can do this for as many posts as you want to quote, then the last post you are quoting click on the quote tab..and ta da....but then I have to go through and delete the parts of the quote I don't need...so I find copy and paste easier!

Clear as mud???? :confused3 :rotfl:

I did get dressed, but only because I live with my sil (and DD)....;) and my pj's are old as dirt - as is my so called robe. :rotfl2:

I do need to sign off soon as tomorrow is a full day with munchkin Sophia. And she is hand full now....a very cute one though.:thumbsup2

Happy planning, Tracy! Wine, planning Disney...doesn't sound like a bad way to spend an evening! :goodvibes

Okay hon. Niters! Sweet dreams. :cloud9:

My jammies are Mickey jammies. I lubs muh Mickey. They are also older than dirt. They've got a few blow outs so I need to be careful when I wear them... :rolleyes1 Hubby calls them air vents. :lmao: :rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao: Now, that was funny.

I wear my Eeyore jammies every night. And every day I wear my Mickey necklace (I'm hoping Andy is brining me a new one...this one is beginning to turn colors!).

So....are we thinking about which Dining Plan to get? Is one leading the ohter or are you still totally confused?

Okay. I'm in for the long haul as you know. You do realize you ONLY have 26 days until your trip, don't you?

I talked to Andy. They went to Fulton's at Downtown Disney for dinner (they are NOT on the dining plan...so don't worry about adding that one to your list) and said it was OUTSTANDING! He had king crab legs. YUM!!!!

26 days?!?!?!?
:scared1:

Now see. I was debating a ressie at Fulton's. We are from Atlantic Canada. We were born and bred on seafood. I would love to eat there. Mucho better than Planet Hoolywood, no? Aye aye aye. Hubby might lose this battle. heh

Mmmm. Crab legs. *drool*

Yes, 26 days. Or 3 weeks and 5 days. Or 624 hours. :lmao::lmao:

Now, you still have a little time, but not a LOT! I'm here to help tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday I have to go to a funeral :sad1: ).

Oh man, there is no way in hell I could go to a funeral for a child let alone an infant. OMG, I am getting choked up just thinking about it. :sad1: I would have to be sedated. Or something. You are going to need some angels lifting you up that day. You all will. :grouphug: Gulp.

624 hours?! Holy crap. That doesn't seem long at all, does it? Ack! I think tonight I'm just going to work on pricing out the menus of what I think we would most likely be eating and then decide if it's best to get the dining plan. Yeah. That's what Ima gonna do!
