Spending that, you are better off with the DDP in my opinion. You could do QS DDP while at CSR, then regular DDP for Poly. Just be sure your ADRs are arranged to accomodate that!

Takes awhile, but now you need to look at the menu, see what you think you and DH are likely to order, and figure out the pricing. Spending more than $35 each per day, then go with DDP. Don't forget to add in tip when figuring, as it is not included in DDP. Also, you may want to try to arrange your 1 TS meals so they are all during your Poly stay (or CSR) so that you only do DDP for 1 resort.

DH and I usually only do one or two breakfasts out (he normally eats in room and I'm not a big breakfast eater unless I'm eating with Pooh and Tigger or we go to Waffle House); so we figure $15 per day in snacks (we drink a lot of water); $30 for lunch and about $50-$60 for dinner. So you are right around $100 or a little more per day. However, with the dining plan, last year we saved quite a bit and could do a few more "expensive" meals.

I have never not had a room ready when checking in at CSR. But everyone I know has had to wait at CBR. Wonder if that is a difference in management or what? Our room was ready at Pop, too... but it was after midnight!

Schedule HDDR for while you are at CSR... it will be a good break from QS meals. You have already used your allotment of TS credits, so it will be OOP no matter what.

They were told they are in Barbados 13??? At least that's what he thinks. Him and Nicole are eating lunch at the food court; Kevon, the baseball player, is with some of the other kids swimming already!

Curious to know how CSR will compare to CBR. You know, CSR is the mod on the cusp of deluxe. I hear their toilets are a real step up from the other mods!

Andy has made comments about the "childish" nature of the room and I get ripped on by some of the diehard CBR fans when I posted this. They all know that CBR is my least favorite of the mods and they accused me of "poisoning Andy's mind." The only thing I told Andy is I did not like the food court at the CBR...never told him I didn't like the resort or why I didn't like it. And it's not that I don't "like" it, the theme just doesn't appeal to me or hubby.

And you poor thing...I know you spent too much time with that white throne. That will NOT happen on this vacation. This vacation is going to be your BEST vacation ever!!!!!

Barbardos? That's at the other end of the resort - last bus stop etc, furthest from OPR (pretty walk though, along the lake), b ut directly across from check-in. Wonder if they put the group all together in one Village. We all know they can call anytime they want, hope they don't wait until three. They're young and easy going, so probably didn't think or bother to ask if there might be a room ready now.

CBR really is pretty - wish they hadn't changed the rooms to Nemo and wish they'd upgrade in the way they did CSR. Of course, also do not like Shutters or the food court these days..lost it's magic from the years when we stayed there. It was okay in 2005, but why are the CM's at check-in ALWAYS so darned grumpy?? Never had a nice one since 1988 when it opened - what's with that? Do we arrive too happy for them?

Anyway, I am so excited Andy is right there, right now!!!

Yeah, I saw that...he seems to be far away from everything. That might be though where the bus is going to pick them up for the ball fields. He did say they were trying to keep the teams in the same area? They are young...the walk won't bother Andy or Nicole at all (and Andy is used to walking at the CSR--which is still overexaggerated in my opinion anyway).

I HEARD THAT! Seriously, I think the rooms are adorable for little boys and girls--and you should go for it. Just remember where your REAL home is!
