So I've been reading....

All these rotten reviews for the Pepper Market have me fahreaked out! Rude people? Depressed people? Hate their jobs people? I think I might have to have a back up plan here folks!!

Hrm...

We have NEVER had a problem at Pepper Market. We like the food. I always have the chicken fettucine at least once a visit and it has always been very good. I will say they are not the friendliest staff I've ever met (I think most of them have a very hard time speaking English), but I only deal with them when they bring our drinks and refills and just kind of shrug off their "mood" of the day. We eat most of our counter service meals at the parks or we try one of the other resorts each visit.

I' think you'll be fine. You'll usually see more negative reviews than positive of anywhere. Pepper Market seems to be a love it or hate it place. Just remember you're in Disney! Plus, if it's THAT bad, just go grab a CS meal in one of the parks or DTD...it's not like you HAVE to eat at Pepper Market all th e time.

We mostly ate at the resort last time. I'm too busy riding the rides at WDW to eat there. I don't like cranky people. They make ME cranky. I'm not a very good cranky person. Plus...who gets cranky at Disney? Hello!?!?

I have to agree with this. We have eaten there 5-6 times. We really like there food. I have never had a rude server there. We had 1 that spoke English very poorly, and thought we told her we didn't want drinks. We just got our own and didn't worry about it. Otherwise, they have always been polite, but not over-the-top friendly. The cooks do seem a little stressed, but then most of the food is cooked to order. They are usually really busy trying to get everything done and out quickly, and guests are not very understanding when they have to wait for the food. (The pizza/pasta station seems to move the slowest.)

We ate at the Pepper Market several times in March and loved it. Never had any rude service and the food is so good for counter service. It's our favorite food court now.
