I was the first to awake on our first official park day. After all today was the day my son and I had a FP+ for the Elsa and Anna meet and greet and it would take me a while to get ready. I wondered in my mind would Magic Kingdom truly be MAGICAL for ALL of us? It was not long before I heard the boys in the other room attempting to wake my parents. About 6:30 our Garden Grocer order had arrived and just in time for the boys were ready to pounce on anything edible. With a quick grab of a cereal bar and a drink in hand our family set out to attack our plan for the day. Rope Drop at Magic Kingdom!

Just a quick walk from our building and we were at the bus stop. Not sure if this was just beginners luck but our bus was just pulling up when we arrived. We had no problems finding a seat since our building was the first stop.
Once we arrived there was already a decent line waiting to get in. I managed to take the boys out of line to sneak in a picture while the rest of the family held our spot. Jaden was getting a little attitude since he thought this park would be geared more for small children. No matter what we told him his mind was made up. I could not wait until he got inside for I knew he would quickly change his mind!

As the time got closer to rope drop it seemed to get tigher with people closing in all around us. This actually got me more and more excited! Than as if magic the pre show started. As all of the dancers came out and started to sing the train arrived and brought Mickey and all the princess to greet the visitors. I looked around as my children watched the show and tears formed in my eyes. That would be the second time that happened on this trip. It was finally time to enter the park. I could hardy stand the excitment! As people rushed in and were tight all around us I felt the adrenaline start to move through my veins. Mom and I grabed Alex and begin to quicly lead the way. I stoped for a moment and looked behind me as my husband had Noah and Jaden by the hand. He was walking pretty slowly and continued to get slower as we moved along. I started to think to myself; GOOD GOD MAN DON"T YOU KNOW WE ARE ON A MISSION??? Didn't he feel the magic as all of us were feeling? Why in the world was he moving so slow? Than I saw his face turn white. I quickly approached him only to hear him say, " Kathy I can not do this! I just can't do this! The axiety was building but the people around us keep coming. It was at that moment I reralized my husband would not surive rope drop! He applogized and at that moment we knew it would be best for him to head back to the resort to relax. He assured me he would contact me when he made it back and that we should continue with our plan since the kids were looking forward to this. A little uncomfortable the rest of our family pressed on to explore the newest ride; Journey of the Little Mermaid.
I had planned on hitting the rides in Fantasy Land first and to save steeps we would go to each ride in the order they appeared in location. As we passed Elsa and Anna there was already a HUGE line forming. I wondered how long our wait would be for our 1st ride. Once we made it to the Little Mermaid Ride it was basically a walk on. I had to slow down a bit to take everything in. The walk through the areas where the line would normally be was just georgeous! Such detail! I enjoyed walking through as much as I did the ride itself.
Jaden was really starting to get excited! He was already in better spirts about having his picture taken.

Each boy made a different discovery along the way. Jaden was just amazed at the sea shells with in the walk way.

Noah fell in love with the treasure chest and wanted one of his own!

Alex could not take his eyes of the bird.

Once inside I was only able to get this picture to come out half way decent since most came out really blurry.

Before heading to the next ride the boys requested to have their picture taken.

Considering the morning started out a bit rough it was really starting to brighten up. We were able to get on our first ride without waiting and the boys were memorized. I could only hope the rest of rides would go as well.
