A good rate for WL?

Last Spring we made reservations for WL for March 05. I was looking at the reservation and it breaks down to $395 per night per room. Does that seem right? Seems high to me since we booked in advance. There will be seven of us needing park tickets, etc and at this point, just the rooms at WL are almost $3200. I'm thinking of switching to a moderate or do you think I could get a better rate at WL?

That seems very high - even in what I think is considered peak season. I went that time of year once and I believe it was right around $200 per night, including tax (std. view).

Since you are going during peak season the rates will be high. I was looking at the WDW site and for your time frame a standard room with tax is running $322 per night. Did you book a standard or woodsview or courtyard view?
Also if you have more than 2 adults to a room there is an extra fee for that as well, I believe $25 per night. Disney does not discount if you book far in advance. The codes that they have usually come out just months before the date that they apply to.
Right now the codes that are available to the general public for your dates have expired. You might want to check to see if there are any AP rates available for your dates and see if it would be cost effective to purchase an AP. You can book up to three rooms with the AP.

We're in Courtyard View. Initially we requested that to see the fireworks and boat parade from the balcony. However, we can always walk down to the boat dock one night to see it. I'd love it if we could switch to Standard and get your rate of $174! WIth 2 rooms for 4 nights, that would be a difference of $1768!

I just booked WL Standard View for Oct. 1-8 for $169 per night with a AAA rate.
