A girly question about hair

I always have the same problem with my hair - usually I use a pair of US voltage straighteners that I bought over there a couple of years ago but a few months ago I bought some new straighteners in Boots to replace a broken pair;apparantly they are dual voltage and come with an adapter for the US so I reckon they'd work just as well in FL as they do at home.
