a girls-only birthday weekend w/ the mouse! MY TR HAS MOVED...LINK IN MY SIGGIE

I'm subscribing -- I spent last night reading your whole trip report with your DH, and catching up on this one. What a fun trip!

I hear ya! :cool1: There is social worker at work who is my age and last Fall wore one of those vests (bad enough ;)) with Halloween patches of little pumpkins and witches. :rotfl2: I LMAO when I saw her and told her that unless she is a teacher, those are a non-no for anyone under 60 and even then, they are debatable. The next week, the new Glamour came out and guess what their "Don't" was that month? That's right, holiday clothing. :lmao: I cut out the picture and taped it to the outside of her office door. :rotfl:
:

Are you saying my collection on holiday sweaters isn't "in"???:confused3 My grandmother assured me they were high fashion!

sorry i've been MIA. i had family in town last weekend and i have more coming this weekend. then our DSL went down yesterday and now we're on dialup until they fix it......:scared1: i'm such a baby when i don't have internet!

Aww, you are just like me with the pictures of clothes. LoL! I love the Disney couture stuff... I have a few hot topic shirts myself. They are great! I love the Alice shirt with the Alice crocs! So cute!

I don't have any ears, just some headbands (stitch ears and minnie ears) and I just tuck them into my backpack... I use a Travelon backpack from QVC and its got tons of comparments. You could probably get some kind of little keychain or clip to put on your bag and then clip the ears onto somehow? That is a good question.. I am def getting ears our next trip so I am interested to see how you figure it out!

Great TR... I love the table of contents too. I think this might be my first post on here but "Hi Peep"! I love reading your TRs they make me feel like an old friend is telling me about there trip or something. I am so happy for you. I have only been back for a month-- not even-- and I already can't wait to get back to WDW! ;)

i think i've decided not to take the mickey ears with me this time. since i'm carrying a smaller backpack b/c DH is not with me, they won't fit in there. if i stuffed them in, they would probably get smushed. and i'm afraid to hang them from anything by the chin strap because i'm afraid it'll break. welcome to the TR, by the way!!! i've got to get caught up on yours when i get a chance!

I cannot believe that I am just now finding your pre-trip report. Great reporting so far :cool1:
I wish I was going to be in Disney with you guys ... I always miss out on the fun.. :sad2:

Ok -- So I wear something called a Soldier Sak... It does wrap around your waist like a fanny pack, but it is much cooler looking and does not take up much room.... and it supports the troops so it is justified

I like your shirts from hot topic. I might have to make a pit stop before my trip next week... but alas -- i have to go to that other park (US) for one day.. .

so i'm guessing if you're not in WDW now, you're getting ready to leave? lucky!!! and as long as your "fanny pack" is smaller and cooler looking than the others, i'm sure it's fashionable. :cool2: plus it supports the troops, so who cares how it looks!

I don't know if the crocs you bought were Mary Jane or Alice Crocs, but Piperlime has the Alice crocs.

thanks. i had actually already ordered the alice ones. i got them on crocs.com with a discount code and only paid like $32 with shipping and tax and everything. :thumbsup2

My DH calls them dirtes pronounced deer-tays, as in Joe Dirte. :rotfl2:

:lmao:......to both! my mom wears those types of things.....bless her heart. and deer-tays......those poor kids!

I had a nice dream last night about our trip! For some reason I was waiting for you that night instead of vice versa. My CAT and I headed over to Ohanas for dinner and while I was running there, and I mean flat out running up the road (the cat was temp. MIA), my 7th grade bf started racing me. I convinced him to have dinner with me, then the cat appeared again. I realized I would not be able to have dinner at LeCellliar my last night b/c I had given him a TS credit. I got mad and left WDW.

I didn't say I was sane! :lmao:

:rotfl2: i wonder what your cat would've ordered with his TS credit??? :rotfl: i think i've had one dream about our trip, but i don't remember much about it. as it gets closer, i'm sure i'll have some more though!

You guys should definitely swing by the Pop Glow Party on Saturday night. I just finished reading Dawn's last trip report and she is very entertaining. Reading Dawn's and UTAHMAMA's (I noticed that UTAHMAMA will be at the Glow Party) trip reports has inspired me to consider writing one of my own. We are going to DW September 22-30 and I want to make sure I take a lot of pictures and video to post. We really enjoy looking at the "food porn" and I think that we should contribute. Anyway, I think that a lot of people are going to have a lot of fun around the end of September.

hello and welcome! thanks for the compliments. my TR doesn't even compare to UM's (utahmama)! she's hysterical. as tara said, we'll be playing it by ear.....just depends on how tired we are. maybe we'll see you there!

thanks! and welcome!!! :)

winkers, you are the coolest.....:cool2: do you have any holiday sweaters that have lights in them? my sister had a "ugly christmas sweater" party last year and she ended up with a sweater that had christmas lights built in!

I must confess that I do own 1 christmas sweater..............but I only wear it christmas eve. It's really not that bad, just a nativity scene made up of dogs and cats............just kidding. It has a snowman and christmas tree on it. Now my mother in law, has about 20 for each holiday and has been known to wear her chirstmas ones in april!:rotfl2:

i just love 'em. now i have to have a pair in every color. if only they didn't cost $30 a pop!

:yay: 21 MORE DAYS!!!!!! :yay:

Glad to hear you've had company and have another fun weekend planned.
Sad to hear your internet has been down.
Glad to see you found more good shoes.
Sad to know that Eventer98 is insane. (I, too, have weird dreams like that, so I could totally relate!)

Okay, that's enough ups and downs for tonight. Enjoy your company this weekend, be safe, and ride out these last 21 days. Did you happen to see over on our TR that I had booked a trip for Jill, Brooklynn, and I to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and celebrate Jill's birthday? Jill has said she wanted to go sometime to do MNSSHP, and since her birthday's on a Friday, I decided to take a couple of sick days, add it to the weekend, and take her down there! We're very excited about that!

Love the crocs Dawn! I think my collection will have to remain at two pairs though until next summer!!

Congrats on being so close! What a great feeling!
Oh and I LOVE the Alice Crocs... the foot modeling picture cracked me up!
You are under 3 weeks away now! Yay!

How exciting that you've reached the "same month" mark! :hippie:

Should be a great time...be sure to take lots of pics for us MIA peeps, okay? ;)

Okay, the Crocs are pretty cute and I do trust your fashion sense so maybe, just maybe, I can give them a try. :thumbsup2

:yay: party: :yay: WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD THIS MONTH!!!!!!!! :yay: party: :yay:

Enough with you and tiggerbell and your bragging about going THIS MONTH!!!

Kidding, of course. Don't shoot me! I checked out both of your reports and I get smacked in the face with all the big words and dancing things. Man! It is very exciting that the waiting is almost over and the fun is about to begin! We all know just how it feels to pass one more milestone on the journey. I'll be bragging, too, when I flip my calendar over next month. Enjoy all of your last bit of planning and preparing. Three weeks will go by quickly, and then we'll stop the hands of the clock while you're on your trip so you can do everything you want. When you're done, though, you have to start them back up so we can go.

Cute Shoes! I was wondering if they get hot w/o the holes? You have inspired me to get a pair for my Bahamas trip in Oct. Now, MJ, Alice or Athena :confused3

Love the crocs Dawn! I think my collection will have to remain at two pairs though until next summer!!

i'm up to 4 pairs now. but i almost never wear my caymens any more. they just seem too bulky.

Congrats on being so close! What a great feeling!

You are under 3 weeks away now! Yay!

yes, foot modeling is about as close to real modeling as i'll ever get!

Toe cleavage....:rotfl2: That is something I would say! I love it!

You leave this month!!!

my best friend created that term and we use it all the time now. i don't show real cleavage (or at least not purposely), so toe cleavage it is!

How exciting that you've reached the "same month" mark! :hippie:

we will!!! i've gotta catch up on your TR.....i'm so behind!

Okay, the Crocs are pretty cute and I do trust your fashion sense so maybe, just maybe, I can give them a try. :thumbsup2

i love them! they're very comfy! they stretched out a little since i've worn them around a bit, but not enough to fit weird or anything.....just enough to be comfy!

you'll be back in no time......and i'll be jealous!

Cute Shoes! I was wondering if they get hot w/o the holes? You have inspired me to get a pair for my Bahamas trip in Oct. Now, MJ, Alice or Athena :confused3

i wore them to a festival on saturday and my feet didn't get hot. it was about 85-90 degrees here that day. i think everyone's feet react differently though!

:car: .....transportation issues..... :car:

i need help! i'm trying to figure out which car i want to drive to disney world. fyi - it takes about 7 hours to get from my house to disney world, just at 500 miles. here are my choices.

my car - a 2002 honda cr-v. i love it. it gets great gas mileage for being an SUV (about 25 miles a gallon) and it's roomy. plus it has the added bonus of having my "dreams come true" tag on the front and a "got disney world?" sticker on the back window. it has a 6-disc CD changer and sirius satellite radio. the drawback is it has 112,000 miles on it and i hate putting another disney trip on it when i know we're going back in april. here's a pic from when i first bought it 2 years ago.....

Picture020-1.jpg

DH's car - 2001 ford focus. it's a nice little car. of course the gas mileage is awesome - 28 miles a gallon. it's roomy in the front, but not in the back. although that doesn't really matter since it's just me and erin. if we decide to not take a bus one day and tara has to jump in the back, no biggie since it's not a long ride anywhere in WDW. it too has a 6-disc CD changer and sirius satellite radio. it also has a connection for my husband's ipod that plays through the speakers, which he'd let me take with me. it has no disney references. not that that's important, but to silly me, it is. the plus is that it only has 35,000 miles on it. i don't have a pic of it, but here's a picture from a website. it's pretty much the same car, except that DH's is not quite as red - his is more burgundy.

01focus.jpg

we also have a volkswagon cabrio convertible that would be an option, but the air conditioning doesn't work and, being that we're going to florida, that option is OUT!!! :scared:

what do you guys think??? i need input from the experts! ;)

Okay, I'm only through the first page, but the Girls' Only intrigued me, so I will finish reading tonight. Just want to subscribe right now so I don't lose it. :)
