A funny jaws story

a funny story about jaws....... we went way back in 95 and my son was 8, we went on jaws, and had never been before, so we had no idea what to expect, of course he sat right on the side where jaws comes up. when that shark came up out of the water, it did scare all of us, we had no clue that it happened, but he screamed and yelled, and jumped up, he started yelling at the girl, who was our captain, to "shoot it stupid, shoot it", she started laughing so hard, she lost it, and almost dropped the gun she was holding, he's still screaming, and shaking, he was beyond terrified and everyone on the boat was rolling....... it was the funniest thing in the world. Now, we are going back and he's 15, and that is the one thing he remembers, we all get a good laugh out of it, but poor thing, he just is like
" it was scary for a little kid, man".... he's too funny. That is one of my best memories. Can hardly wait to make some more, IOA wasn't even there last time we went!!!

I'm sure those captains see some pretty funny reactions. It is fun to hold something like that over your kid's head though isn't it

My son (10) loves Jaws-Can you tell me what side of the boat he should sit on for maximum effect???

If I remember......... and it's been a long time, the way you board the boat is from right to left........ so he'd need to get in the seat FIRST, so he's on the far side when you board........ he needs to get into the seat first........ slide all the way over and the rest of you slide in. I'm pretty sure thats it......... however, try to be in the 4th or 5th row....... it's not as good right in the front or in the back...... especially if you want to scare his pants off............. hee hee



And YES, we make fun of my son about that........ he know's we are not serious, and he gets a good laugh with the rest of us, but it is funny........ it's a great memory and he loves that it is ALL about him!!!!!!!!!

Boy oh boy I have to choose whom I want to sit there out of6 people. Either of my sisters, either of my nephews, my bad a** niece (whom I leaning towards it being her) or my son. Man that's a hard choice. I think my neice will win though.
