Our grand gathering of 11 will be in the World Sept. 5-12. As I plan a soft itinerary around our table service bookings, one day has me scratching my head. We have 12:10 at Teppan Edo and 6:10 at Coral Reef. Even if we arrive at Epcot just before lunch and leave just after dinner, that's 7 hours in Epcot. As we have two preschoolers in the group, I think that's about the limit for one stretch in Epcot. However, I'm not sure what to suggest for the morning. None of the other parks open before 9:00. Is it worth spending the morning in Downtown Disney or getting an early tee=time for 9 holes? Would we make it to Epcot by noon?

Maybe you could sleep in, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and then do a little swimming before heading to the park.

I vote to leave it free and allow people to rest, sleep in or schedule their own activity. You do have other down time scheduled, right?

After our week in the world last month, we totally enjoyed extra downtime. We used it at the pool and just walking around the resort. IF you already have 7 hours at Epcot that day, I would just let it up to everyone else to decide what they want to do with that time and then agree to meetup at Epcot at a certain time.

Well, I think we've found the concensus, haven't we? We do have other down time factored in, but mostly afternoons. I could totally buy the sleeping in, but I thought that being free until noon was a little much. Most of our kids think that 8:00 AM is sleeping in.

in reality you would leave yourselves only maybe 5 hours for all of Epcot. You will have a tough time fitting everything in. Make sure you plan to hit the highlights. Contrary to some beliefs, Epcot is for kids and toddlers can have a wonderful time there.
