A free Disney Vacation When You Purchase DVC/SSR?

Did anybody else get that e-mail today? I got it sent to my e-mail address at work and didn't really have time to read it thoroughly, but I found it interesting that a free Disney trip was being thrown into the mix for purchasing. They really seem to be trying to SELL this one. I wonder if they are worried that it might not have as much appeal as the others.

I did not see this e-mail, but it doesn't surprise me. They did the same thing with BCV presales. The rationale is that they are selling a property you can't stay in for several months, so they make up for that by giving you a free stay somewhere else.

Can you tell us what the e-mail said?

Do you think that members received one e-mail and non-members received a different e-mail?

Is the "free vacation" they are talking about just the "free" pts you receive when you purchase/add-on 150 or more pts?

Would it be possible for you to forward the e-mail to me?

It's probably along the lines of what we received as a sign up "bonus" when we joined. We received 5 nights free stay at a Disney resort of our choice. (DVC resorts, Fort Wilderness, & GF were not listed as a choice). So that is probably what they are doing again to entice people to buy into DVC.
