A few things about the grammys...

!~ I have to wonder about how Bruce Springstien felt about being compared to Eminem or even having his music used durring Ems video montage thingy. If I were *the boss* Someone would get fired for that for sure

2~ Avril and Gwen Stefani~ I have issues with the way that alot of the female *role models* ie Britney and Christina, lil Kim etc dress, as they make such an impression on our daughters. When I saw Gwen's (No Doubt) outfit, I called dd(11) into the room (shes grounded and not allowed tv) to see how an artist can be sexy and still be a lady. Even after She took off her coat, and was somewhat scantily clad, I didnt see anything I shouldnt have. The same goes for Avril, but I think she missed an oppritunity to go all out and really look like the gorgeous young lady she is, instead of looking like she was cleaning her garage.

3~ The Clash trib... It just kicked all 31 flavors of a~ I mean ice cream

I almost forgot... John Mayer (who muchly reminds me of Tom Everett Scott) is NOT 16 (duh) he was born in 77

I think respectable is a matter of opinion. All I hope for is that all of the naughty bits, top and bottom are concealed and not by sheer fabric. She had a coat on at first which she took off to reveal a tiny tube top (covering her breasts), a pair of suspenders, and a pair of shorts (not showing off her tush or crotch) there was a train thing in the back which may have helped to prevent her from being too *cheeky*. I think if all female role models would do that all of the time, it would make a much better impression on our children. Gwen is perfect, and if I were here I would have dressed the same way(without the suspenders) As always she wore fabulous shoes

Yea, I'm so happy to see another Gwen Stefani fan!!!!!

At the beginning of the number I was like, what is up with that, she is more conservatively dressed than I have ever seen her. Of course she didn't disappoint. And I was loving her boots. But like you said, Sweetness, she didn't show anything she shouldn't have. I love how she mixes her tom-boyishness with her girlyness.

Gwen is a goddess. The only time she ever disapointed me was with the big pinkfro. That didnt even look good on her. 1 things for sure, if she and Gavin ever have kids, they will be talented lil heartbreakers!

Two things: When Bruce and the band take the stage, it is an event. The other thing is, Gwen Stefani is adorable and is a great singer.
