due to our tent fiasco ( see here if interested .... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=21927036#post21927036 )
we were only there for less than 24 hrs and i could barely walk so we skipped the ansel adams exhibit and just drove around a little. hadn't been to savannah for probably 15 yrs and it seemed a little less nice than i remembered it but could have been the trauma we had just been through:rotfl2: i did get some yummy crab legs though for pretty cheap ;)

the cemetery had odd mausoleums. i guess due to water table there were a bunch of them. got a little photoshoppy with this one
pretty much haven't even started on the fl ones....
 
It took me getting half-way through your photos before I realized that you must mean Savannah, Georgia, and not a savanna like you see from the window of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. "Duh!" :laughing: And here I was expecting lion photos!

Yowza!!! I'll add that to my list of 437 reasons I don't camp (though as dd's Brownie leader, I may have to rethink that rule). :lmao: I'm glad you're ok.

Lovely pictures; I especially like the architectural details. The last one is pretty too. I love Spanish moss--looks so dreamy.

yeah , i need to start using that caps button:lmao: there was one "beast" there though, a guy who accused me of being a "papparazzi" when i took a photo of some iron work:confused3 :lmao:
