We just came back from four days at WDW and three on the Disney Wonder. What a great trip - and what fabulous food! Time for dieting, but before that, here is a a little taste of what we did. I will review Citrico's ( our spluge dinner) and the F7W festival in a separate review.

Cast: Me (happy eater), DH (skinny, but likes to eat), DS (17 - adventurous eater), DS (17-needs lots of explanations before trying things), SIL (likes to try new things, too)

Kona Cafe for lunch - We tried this first last January after reading about it here. No PS needed, walked right in around 12:30 (after a delayed flight and spending the night in Allentown, PA instead of Orlando!). I had the Asian Noodle Bowl - vegetables, rice noodles and shabu-style beef in a light but flavorable broth. It is a huge portion and I didn't finish it all. I saved room for KoKo puffs. They are chocolate filled cream puffs with chocolate sauce on top. Everyone in our party liked their food, and the service was friendly, informative and prompt. I was surprised by the free refills on fruit juice. Grade: A

Whispering Canyon - dinner - called for PS same day, got one for 7:50 PM (close to the time we wanted). We weren't seated until after 8:15, and our food didn't come until close to 9:00. The long wait definitely blunted our perception of the food, which was OK. I had the skillet. The ribs were good, the corn on the cob was of course aweful, and the rest of the food was just OK. I can't remember if we had dessert - probably not as it was getting quite late for us. Our waitress was nice, and the place was clearing out by 8:30 so it wasn't too busy, and we didn't ask for or get an explanation of the exceedingly slow service. We probably won't go there again for a very long while. Grade: B for food, C for slow service.

Olivia's Cafe - dinner - What a nice surprise! We called for PS the same evening, and got a 7:50 time. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated promptly. The ambience is delightful - southern beach house style. Very quiet and laid back, with friendly yet professional servers. I had mahi-mahi served with balsmaic onions on greens, and roasted potatoes around it. The fish was cooked perfectly - flaky. moist and flavorful from a very light sauce. The sauce settled down onto the greens which wilted from the heat and gave off a beautiful aroma and tasted great. I used a bit of the bread to mop up the last of the suace afterwatd! For dessert I had a key lime meringue (what else would you have in OKW?) - intense lime flavor lightened by a perfectly cooked meringue, and pretty to look at as well. ALl of us enjoyed our dinners. Grade: A

Boma - dinner - we had called for PS about three days before. We were seated right away. Everything was delicious. The spicing is different from home, but not hot. All of us enjoyed it, although one DS stuck mostly to kid's foods. I love the AKL, and I'd like to come back to both Boma and Jiko (which we did in Jan, but not this time). Grade: A

In the parks:
AK - Chakranadi Chicken Stand: potstickers in broth (very good) and spring rolls (pretty good).
MGM - Mama Melrose: I had two appetizers - mixed field greens (delicious, but definitely a side salad not a main salad) and the grilled portobello mushroom with polenta and gorgonzola cheese (didn't realize until too late that the polenta was missing - I knew something was missing but couldn't remember what it was until I looked at menu again on way out. Oh, well - it was good anyway) We like Mama Melrose - it is as good as the better Italian chains we enjoy at home, it is heavily airconditioned, and for some reason we have always been able to walk right in without a PS.
EPCOT - F & W festival - I will do a separate review soon on this. It is a winner, though!

Thanks for the reviews! :) I really enjoyed our lunch at Kona last year, too - so much that we will be trying dinner there in a few weeks.

I have been reading lots of good things about Olivia's, too. A must try on a future trip.

Thanks for the reviews. Good job! Glad to see Boma and Olivia's got "A" grades. :)
