Missing Disney this year was heart breaking!
We did get to stay at POFQ for the first time and loved it. I was planning on doing the whole food porn review again but the spirit was just not there. This year we did the "other" parks. We did manage to use our Disney Reward Points for some super yummy feasts!
We arrived at headed straight to DTD. We have been wanting to eat at T Rex for awhile now. Finally it has been added to the Disney Dining Plan along with Rain Forest Cafe. T Rex was great. I loved all the dinos and the food was pretty darn good also.
So glad for the ressies I made 6 months ago. The line was forever LONG!!!
We ate breakfast a couple of times at POFQ. Typical Disney breakfast foods. I love the breakfast sandwich.
One night we headed over to the Poly for our Ohana dinner. We love it here. The food is always wonderful. I do wish the bread was hot. Our service was a little slow. I also dislike the lady that does the kids coconut races and hula dancing. She annoys me to death. My husband said I wish she would quit or go to another restaurant. All in all we ended up leaving super full. Ohana never ever lets us down.
I have been wanting to eat at a signature restaurant but have not wanted to take dressy clothes. I'm just too lazy. That being said we finally did it. We tried Yachtsman Steakhouse. Upon arrival we noticed that people were not dressed up at all. Lots of jean shorts and tank tops. People coming right from the park. I was kinda not happy about that but what can ya do. I loved my steak. It was cooked so perfect. I had the Ribeye with the cheesy potatos. Everything was cooked exactly as I ordered. My husband had a fish dish. It was on the small size for the price but again we were at a nicer restaurant. I would love to eat here again.
On our day off we headed back to DTD for some shopping. It rained pretty much all day. For lunch we dropped in to Raglan Road. It was empty. I don't understand why because we love the food here. I ordered a sandwich and salad combo and my husband had the brisked sandwich with onion rings. My son had the shrimp.
And how in the world could you leave without bread pudding! My husband wants to have this shipped to our house.
We ate lunch at POFQ once and enjoyed it. My son and I had a pizza and my husband had a combo chicken and rib plate.
We finished our vacation with breakfast at Cape May Cafe. Again typical Disney breakfast. Loved the characters in their beach wear. Missed Mickey though!
Next year we are heading back to do all things DISNEY!
Already booked with Free Dining. I will sure not disappoint next year with the food porn photos!
