1) Has anyone used way.com lately?

2) Is pin trading big at the Disneyland parks? Will CMs trade?

3) Is the frozen sing along gone now and if so, what is in that building?

Pin trading isn't very big, but CMs usually have some. It's not like WDW at all.

My DS found plenty of places to trade pins. Many shops had a pin board where he could trade. I think they had a 2 pin limit per location. He found several CM who trade pins and bumped in to a few other visitors who trade pins.

The sing along is gone. The building is being used for movie previews. So the muppets are not (yet?) returning.

We always pin trade! Lots of CMs have them on, with some set aside for kids only. Not only the CMs you run into in the parks but lots of CMs in the stores, as well as the boards at some stores. On occasion I've had a guest ask to pin trade with me while standing in line or that sort of thing, but not often.

Pin trading is still very popular at Disneyland Resorts. You'll find CMs wearing lanyards, but I've noticed a shift towards pin boards/books in shops and other locations. In most of the larger stores, there is usually at least one Mickey-head-shaped pin board at one of the registers.

As others have said, the building was renamed Sunset Showcase Theater and is now being used to show extended previews of upcoming movies. Starting on July 1st, they'll be showing a preview of Pete's Dragon there (previously it was used for the Alice Through the Looking Glass movie preview). The rumors I've read indicated that it's unlikely that the Muppets will be returning anytime in the near future (if ever; some rumors even indicate that the figures were removed "less than gently").

The Muppets are gone for good unfortunately. It was great to watch their show. Especially on a hot day. Sometimes Disney does really stupid things. Like taking away Starcade just to let the space sit empty for months and months. And the rumored upcoming removal of Tower Of Terror just takes the cake if it turns out to be true.

I can't disagree with this.

Though I did take this photo outside the muppets theater at the Award Weiners seating area..

Taking away the muppets show to show movie previews is such a waste! I also was not a very big fan of the sing along, as I expected the performers would actually be singing live, not just doing dialogue. Now that there is a Frozen show, I assume the production values are much higher! I look forward to the next time I am at the park and can see it!

I'm with everyone being upset about the Muppets not coming back. But the last few times we went, it was barely one quarter full. Instead of upkeep for the film and animatronics, now Disney can just play a new film every few months. I'd say "thanks Shanghai", but I really know deep down that Disney is cheap when it can be.

We used way.com to buy our tickets and parking passes a year ago in May. I don't believe they sell the parking passes any more. Our experience was a good one. We received an email with the passes about 24 hours after ordering. We presented our vouchers at the turnstiles and were given our official park passes right there at the gate (we did not have to go to the ticket booth).

I used way.com last year and again this spring. Last year they emailed a printable voucher which I took directly to the turnstiles in exchange for my ticket. This year, they are mailing the park tickets directly to you.
