Not a complete trip report, but I wanted to share a few thoughts/observations from our trip 8/3-8/6.
-Club 33 was an amazing experience not to be forgotten! I wore a dress and heels for lunch and was WAY overdressed. DH and DS both wore jeans and polos and were WAY overdressed. Food was superb! Be sure to walk out onto the deck. Bought lots of fun Club 33 merch, but be sure to ask for extra pens - they're free
-WOC was spectacular! As resort guests, we were able to get into DCA 30 mins before the crowds. Got a blue FP and watched from the middle of the bridge. Great spot! No crowds and an unobstructed view! Plus its easy to send a runner for food while waiting
-PPH was ok ambiance-wise. We were moved from the DLH earlier in the week due to overbooking but we got a theme park view upgrade from our standard view room at DLH. We could see right into DCA and could also see/hear WOC. Not great for light sleepers - bring a white noise machine. Not sure if I'd stay here over the DLH, but the room upgrade and $100 in meal vouchers were nice!
- Crowds increased substantially from Tuesday- Thursday. Did MM yesterday and were the 2nd people on Peter Pan! Got about 8 rides in before 10am! Go early!
-Weather - very cool mornings and evenings with lots of sun during the day. Be sure to bring a light jacket.
