We just got back from a quick 5 days trip. The Dining Plan was fantastic and we were really pleased to get wonderful service everywhere we went. I was worried about that after reading some of the complaints on the boards that the waitstaff seemed to slack off once they knew you were on the plan. Not the case at all for us.

We were a party of 5, with one 4 year old, 3 thirty-somethings, and a senior citzen.

Coral Reef Lunch - LOVED IT! We had the land and sea, salad with key lime dressing, cod cake apps. Mahi-Mahi, bbq salmon, tilapia, chicken kids meal lunch and key lime, creme brulee, chocolate wave and sundae desserts. We also had arranged for personalized menus that came out beautifully. We had a diver with a sign and a really awesome waitress who just kept the drinks coming! Aside from it being a little loud in there, it was beautiful to look at, the food was delish and the service was so good we ended up giving her above and beyond the included gratuity!

Crystal Palace Breakfast - I can't stop dreaming about the Puffed French Toast. YUM!! That was so good. It is a very pretty restaurant, and we had a very nice waiter that was playing around with us, teasing our son. Everything we tried was very good, with the exception of some undercooked red skinned potatoes. The cheesy potatoes were awesome, breakfast lasagna looked gross but was really good. The characters were great, they came around a few times and did their little parade with the kids twice while we were there. I would absolutely do this one again!

More to come later, including 1900 Park Fair, 50's Primetime, Liberty Tree Tavern, Riverside Mill in POR, Sunshine Seasons

Looking forward to more. We'll be at 1900 in 16 days, and Coral Reef in 17 days (also planning on Sunshine Seasons).

1900 Park Fair Supercalifragilistic Breakfast -
The Granf Floridian was just beautiful. We took the monorail from the MK for a 10:40 breakfast. We waited about 10 minutes for our table. The characters all came around, some twice. Tigger and Pooh came twice for shorter visits, but Alice, the Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins stayed and chatted for quite a while. The food was good, a little "fancier" breakfast food than the CP. The usual waffles, fruit, pancakes, eggs, omelets, potatoes, bacon, sausage, but also lobster eggs benedict, chicken blueberry sausage, carved ham, strawberry soup, lox, bagels, pastries, etc. The only thing that made me nuts was the self serve ice cream that early in the morning. Try steering a 4 year old past giant bowls full of m & m's and gummi bears! It was a very nice experience, but I did like the Crystal Palace breakfast better.

Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner

We had a very early reservation at 4:10, so we were seated right away and got plenty of attention from the waiter and characters. They all came around twice or more....Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale. They were cute, all in their Halloween costumes. Goofy was the best, being really silly and banging his head on the overhead lighting.

The food was good comfort food. I was feeling like I was getting a cold, so it was all perfect for me. Warm, mushy food! Yummy rolls and honey butter, good salad. The mac and cheese, string beans, potatoes, stuffing and meats were all very good. Nothing outstanding, but all of it was just right. I was surprised at how good the beef was. Really tender and flavorful. My husband is a vegetarian who eats fish (a pescatarian?) and they made him very good salmon and brought him another filet when he finished the first piece!

Dessert was apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Can't go wrong with that!
