A Few Quick Questions

Hey everyone! I'm planning my second trip to WDW for February 2009.

I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping you can answer for me.. or point me in the right direction.

1. When does Disney typically release the rates for the following year? I want to book a package but can't until the rates are released and I would like to book as soon as they are.

2. Has anyone travelled to WDW alone with 3 children, and do you have any advice? I am taking my 12yo son, 7yo nephew and 5 yo niece by myself on the trip and I'm hoping I'm not getting in over my head. My son will be helping me with the younger ones, and he's been to WDW before but it will be their first trip.

3. Do you have suggestions of place to take a break/relax during the day at the parks if we don't want to go all the way back to the room? I know my son and nephew could go all day, but I think my niece will need to take a break, but it will be near impossible to pull her away from the parks.

Thanks so much and enjoy your trips!

hi dreamscome true, give the smaller kids a note for there pocket. there name nad your cell number.(not to much info. but enough for a cm to find you if they get lost.) if the hotel is close, it would be worth going back for a power nap. test the waters the first day. youll do fine!! have a nice time!!

Cant really help with the going it alone w/ 3 kids, but as far as advice...let the kids moods determine how hard and long you go.
I bet you will be surprised how often they may want to go back to the room & pool for a mid day break. If your looking for a nice quiet place to rest...but yet may still entertain some what...IN MK check out Hall of presidents. You sit in the dark and listen to slow speaking and it puts several people to sleep. In EP, I suggest Circle of Life...or you may like Elen's energy thingy as it is a pretty long ride and will get you off your feet and out of the sun for a while. MGM...Sounds Dangerous. Just if your wanting a "break" dont put on the eqar phones...but this is VERY DARK, so it may be somewhat scary. Animal Kingdom...I would take in a show. Nemo is a pretty long show and would give everyone a break. I would rent a double stroller. I know the 5 & 7 year old can walk BUT, after a day of that they will be more than willing to use that stroller. If I could get someone to push me around I would...lol.
