A few questions...

As we get closer to our cruise, I've been thinking of a lot of little questions that I've love to know the answers to!

1. On which day are the tip envelopes placed in the staterooms?

2. If someone in our group is celebrating a birthday the evening we have Palo ressies, do they (or would they) bring out a cake as they do in the rotational dining rooms?

3. Would a teen be able to sign their siblings into or out of the Oceaneer's Club and/or Lab? We will be asking that our 8-year-old NOT be able to sign himself in and out of the Lab even though I have read that he is old enough to do so.

I think ( if I remember correctly) the tip envelopes were put in our room on the next to last day of our 4 day cruise.

I do know that if when you make reservations for Palo you let them know that you are celebrating a special event, they will do a special dessert presentation for you (we did this for my dad's 65th b-day).

I believe that if you put a teen on your "list" for folks able to check your child out of a club and they had your password, then it would be ok. May depend on the age of the teen, though.

Fellow DISers are welcome to correct me if any of this has changed, or my memory has failed me in my old age.

My friends 14 year old daughter was able to sign my 4 year old in and out of the clubs. I just put her on the list and gave her the password!

Yes, ljm is correct. The tip envelopes were left in the room on the last day. However, if you are paying by credit card you can go to guest services ANY time and pay. We paid by credit card on day two. It was great to have it taken care of. That way we didn't have to wait in the VERY LONG line at the guest service desk on that last night!!!! Of course, we were able to leave extra cash in the envelope along with our "paid $_______" cards when a CM did something special which made us want to pay even more.
