Hi,
Ive just got a few questions that hopefully someone could help me with, so here goes.
We are flying with unijet through first choice from Manchester. I was wondering whether it would be worth while seeing if we could upgrade to first class, asking at check in if there were seats available. We havent flown with them before so Im not sure what their standard service is like or if it would worth the extra money.
Also just wondering whether you are allowed to take chocolates in your luggage. Last year i seem to remember signs all over the place saying no diary products.

Im sure i will think of more things to ask you guys but thats it for now.
Thanks Sue

I can only help with the chocolate question :) You are fine to take those in.

:)

Hi,

When are you going?

For Summer 2005 (May onwards) First Choice Airlines will all have seat back TV's and 33 inch seat pitch which is more leg room than Virgin!. Their premium service has 36inch seat pitch and bigger seat back TV's, seperate check in and free drinks.

Not sure about this winter though. I think it'll be a bog standard charter.

Hi

It really depends on who you fly with. My aunt flew with Airtours and was asked to throw away there gum. I flew with them and was never asked to throw away gum.

Try speaking to your tour operator and ask them they might have different policies to others.

Have a nice time.

Oh and if you can afford it go for first class. Never flown with Unijet only other operators, but if you can afford it I would go for it. Just an extra boost to the holiday in my opinion.

Regards
Michelle

If the tour op is Unijet then the airline will be First Choice Airlines as that's who they use (all part of the same company)

Thanks for everyones replys.
Its certainly good news about the chocolates. I will stock up on them before we go. Were not great lovers of American choccies.

As for when we go, we leave for Manchester on Wed and fly on Thursday. So not entirely sure whether we will get seatback TVs. I hope so though because we had them last year with Airtours and they really kept the children entertained for a good part of the journey.

Thanks Sue
