Hi, I have a few questions about my Disneyland trip, and I hope some of you can help.

My sister and I will be going to Disneyland in the end of April (around the 23-5) 2008. I know the busy times at Disneyland are during spring break, and I was wondering if we'll be there during the crowds or if we'll have just missed them. Easter is early (end of March), and we're going during Passover.

My sister lives in LA, so we're going to drive down, and probably stay in a hotel for 1 night, so we can spend 2 days in the park. I need information on parking/driving in Disney- we can either stay in a hotel close to the park and walk to and fro, or we can stay a little farther away and drive. Does it make sense to drive in and out of Disney? Is the parking pass for one day? If we park in the morning, leave for lunch, and come back in the evening, will we have to pay twice for parking? What do you suggest?

My sister and I fit into the "young adult" category, and we're trying to find some peace without kids everywhere 24/7. Are there any hotel or restaurant recommendations that are a bit quieter and not big family places? Since we're both students, we're broke, so anything not too expensive?

Just for the sake of my sanity, am I planning too far in advance?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks so much! :flower3:

I would suggest staying within walking distance, there are quite a few places just across the street along Harbor.

Unfortunately you will be at an amusement park and there are kids pretty much everywhere. I don't think you will find any adult only places. The Grand CA as well as the DLH have some very nice upscale rest. but there will probably still be some kids in there.

I agree with the pp about the fact that you won't find a kid-free place in DLR.
I have found Whitewater Snacks in the GCH a nice, quiet reprieve from the parks on most occasions, even if there are a few kids it's still a quieter place to grab a bite to eat (and very affordable as well).

I do think you are going at a really good time crowd-wise. Spring breakers should be long gone from the parks and the end of April should have nice weather.
