A few questions regarding photopass.....

I plan on taking full advantage of photopass during my trip in August. I will still have my camera and will be taking tons of pictures but it will be nice to have pictures of me actually in them opposed to me being absent because I'm the one taking them. Anywho, I was wondering if you can add pictures from rides, character meets etc. to your photopass and how. And does anyone know if the photopass is still running at the price of $59?

Ride photos and character meal photos cannot be added to your photopass at this time. Ride photos are purchased separately and character meal photos are usually offered as a package. At least they were when we ate at Ariel's last year.

From what I've read, though, if you BUY the character meal photos (at around 30 each), you have access to a code that can be entered on the photopass site, which means you can add them to the system. So if you're ordering the CD they can be part of it.

But you do have to buy the prints first.

I was surprised that the photopass photographer was available at one of the 'character meets' - Mickey Mouse in Mickey's House in Toontown. When you go to edit the Mickey picture on photopass a Mickey Mouse signature is offered as one of the framing options.

You'll be more likely to find photopasses at character meetings where there is a set place or stage, i.e. Mickey's House. You most likely will not find photographers on main street or other random places where characters will meet and greet.

It may also depend on the popularity of the character. For instance I've seen the Incredibles roam around by the Hyperion and Tower of Terror without a photopass photographer. I've also seen princesses in the same area with a photopass photographer taking pictures.
