1. CRT - is it worth it? I have two young girls who love princesses but the cost seems high and the reviews say the food isn't great. My oldest would love to be in the castle but I think she would be disappointed if the character interaction isn't that great with the princesses. We will be doing 1900 Park Fare the same trip.

2. Crystal Palace - breakfast or dinner better?

3. Kona or Ohana's for dinner?

4. Cape May or Spoodles for dinner on an easy night walking the boardwalk?

5. FINALLY - we are traveling the first two weeks of December so we are hoping crowds will be reasonable. We want to know if we should do b-fast at H&V and then Fantasmic Dinner package at Brown Derby OR lunch at Prime Time and a regular dinner at Brown Derby? From what I understand Fantasmic Dinner times are REALLY early so we shouldn't so lunch if we are doing one of them. But if we don't do the package I am a bit nervous about seeing Fantasmic. Even though the crowds may be lighter I believe there is only one showing those weeks?? HELP!!

The interaction with the princesses is great at CRT, but the food...definitely not worth the $$. We did it because my girls wanted to see the inside of the castle. It was a great one time experience. When we go in November, we are doing the Norway princess breakfast in EPCOT. It even includes a picture package now, and not quite as much $$ as CRT. :)

Theese are great questions!

1. I would definitely take the girls to Cinderella's Royal Table. Yes it is a bit pricey, but there is something absolutely magical about eating at the castle. I have DD's and they were 4 and 3 when we took them and it was just magical! The food was actually really good for lunch and all of the girls got wands and the boys got swords and all got a wishing star. The princesses all come to your table, but really it is just so beautiful in there it was worth it at least the first trip.

2. We did Crystal palace for breakfast and it was a lot of fun. Getting into Magic Kingdom before everyone else is almost worth it alone! We haven't been there for dinner so I can't help you there.

3. With little girls, I would go to Ohanas for dinner. It is a lot more fun to be there. There are coconut races, hula lessons and limbo dances for the kids to join in on. The dessert is fabulous and the atmosphere is great. My girls had a great time here. Kona is quieter and not as animated but I hear that the food there is amazing. We are heading there too during our stay in April.

4. I haven't been to either Cape May or Spoodles, but we have ADR's in April for Spoodles. It looks more interesting to me.

5. I can't help you at all there. One of my DD's is terrified of fireworks so we have avoided that scene altogether.

Good luck!!

I loved 1900 Park and Fare - and I do not hear good things about the castle. Unless your daughter "knows" theirs a resturant in the castle and will be devestated to miss it - I wouldn't bother.

2. Crystal Palace - breakfast or dinner better?

Which are you a bigger eater for? We are light breakfast eaters so for us the money isn't worth it. Although it is nice getting into the park early and taking some pictures. We do an 11:00a.m. reservation and eat a light breakfast that day, eat the cheaper lunch menu at Crystal Palace, and then a light dinner.

3. Kona or Ohana's for dinner?

Tough Choice - as I love them both.

4. Cape May or Spoodles for dinner on an easy night walking the boardwalk?

I hear good things about Cape May - and I'll be honest our breakfast at Spoodles was a disappointment as far as service went.

I love 50's Prime Time cafe - so I would do that one.

Fantasmic Packages are not necessarily early... We got one for HBD for 5.30pm - a bit earlier than we'd usually do, but still OK for us :)

I agree that just the experience of eating in the Castle makes CRT worth doing at least once. We went for lunch when DS was 8 because I really wanted to eat in the Castle. He ended up having a good time. Snow White talked to him for the longest time because she had never flown before and this was his first time. Cinderella was jealous that Aurora's lipstick was on his cheek. It was really a fun time. That said, the food wasn't the best (or the worst) we have had in the World.

Love Crystal Palace for breakfast! Had dinner once and felt very rushed, not sure exactly why.

We love Kona but I agree that O'hana may be better with little ones.

Have only been to Cape May for breakfast. We ate at Spoodles several years ago and enjoyed our meal. I know there have been mixed reviews lately but we plan to try it again on our upcoming trip.

I love 50's Prime Time so I would pick that one as well.

Have a great trip!

Ok - I am dying to try both Kona's (for the adults to have a good meal) and Ohana's. I think I am going to try and work both in at some point in our trip!!

We are traveling at the beginning of December but even if crowds are lighter I have a feeling I might have trouble getting a CRT reservation. I guess I will try and if it works (and I can get a good time) then we will go but I don't think I will make a huge effort if it doesn't work out since reviews are so mixed.

I am still undecided on Spoodles or Cape May for dinner one night. Still looking for some thoughts on that.

And you guys have convinced me (as I hoped) to go with Prime Time and Brown Derby for our HS day. I will just have to try for the latest dinner reservation for Fantasmic or wait in line a LONG time!!
