A few questions about booking a Disney wedding...

We're looking to get married on a week day in December 2013 at the Wedding Pavilion. How far in advance can we book the Pavilion for the date and how likely are we to get the date and time we want? The wedding party gets a discount on their stay... How much of a discount? Is the discount for the resort or for park tickets? Thanks in advance for your help!

i highly recommend this book to answer all your questions! there is a paperback version available and an e-book which is up-dateable and interactive. some of the particulars i’m not 100% sure of, but weddings can begin planning ~8-16 months before your date. there is a discount for on property stays for guests and a small ticket discount (i don’t think any of our guests used the tickets).

have you gone to the actual disney wedding website? there is more info there and you should absolutely contact disney fairy tale weddings and get the ball rolling.

Wishes you can pencil in at 16 months, book at 12 months

Escape you can pencil in at 12 months, book at 8 months

It depends on which package you want as to when you can book.

I feel your pain... I'm booking Escape from the UK and all our guests will be travelling, I hate not knowing the actual date until 8 months before!

So as long as we pencil it in on the 12 month mark we'll be ok?

The rules changed a bit for 2013, but I think if multiple people want the same slot, a lottery would occur on the 12 month mark. So you'd want to be in touch before that date.
