A few more ?'s before deciding

I generally have it figured out to $200 a month with annual dues included to fincance 150pts at SSR for 10 yrs. Of course I would make extra payments and would not require the full 10yrs.

We usually travel to WDW every other year. According to the points calc. we would need at the most 243pts for a 1 bedroom. Since we would not travel during the holidays. No to the questions.

1. Is it possible to bank every other yrs points. ie. bank 150 pt in 2005 and have a total of 300 in 2006

2. If I use less than 300pts can I use the remaining points for a few day stay for relatives or can I rent these?

I want to have all the numbers and answers prior to touring ssr next week

Yes, you can bank your points as you described. You could also bank 2005's 150 into 2006, have the 150 for 2006, and borrow 150 from 2007, giving you a total of 450 if you were so inclined.

There are banking deadlines that you must observe depending on your use year. This is detailed in the member handbook.

And you can absolutely gift your points to family for their use or rent them.

Remember that it has been reported that once you tour SSR Disney will give you a special price that is only good for three days so at least by having all of your questions answered now, you will be ready to make a decision.
