Are there any Table Service places that don't need reservations? That walk ups are pretty easy to get?

Also Ohana is totally booked all week I am there.
The Disney rep I spoke with said I could check with the concierge at my hotel and they could maybe squeeze me in. Does this happen often or am I wishful thinking?

We have had some luck walking up before the restaurants open but not always...especially Ohana...we have been turned away many times....I would keep the dining number on speed dial on your cell phone and check often!

Walking up and getting a table all depends on day/time and party size.

Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. All you can do is try.

It is my understanding that due to the popularity of the various dining plans that it is nearly impossible to get seated at a table service restaurant.

If you are visiting at a non-peak time of the year and are willing to eat during off (non peak) hours you may be able to get seated but to be safe you really should try to have ADRs.

It's my understanding that Planet Hollywood in DTD doesn't take ADRs. Other than that, you'd be trusting to luck (or the ability to be very flexible).

If something isn't available now, keep trying. There could be cancellations right up to the ADR time.

Depending on the time of year you go, how many in your party, time of day, and popularity of the restaurant in question, will dictate how likely a walk up may be. In general walk ups have steadily been getting much harder for reasons such as the popularity of the disney dining plans, and free dining promtions .At peak season and Holidays walk ups are near impossible.

Bistro de Paris in Epcot doesn't take the DP. We had no problem getting a walk-up table in January. And it was good, too!

I was there the first week of free dining '08, and it was impossible to be seated without ADRs in most restaurants.

Those that did (or would) were:

ESPN Zone
Big River Grille
Beaches and Cream
Plaza Restaurant
Captain Jack's
The Wave

Yes, it's slim pickings! My suggestion would be to try for lunches or try when the restaurant first opens for dinner.
