I see on WDW site that the frigs are available upon request, but at no extra cost at BC. Is this true? I thought it was standard now in all of the deluxe and mods. Also how much difference between a studio or the standard room at BC? They are the same price when I look at WDW package. I understand one difference is the 2 queen beds in standard and 1 Queen and sleeper sofa in the DVC studio. Any other pros or cons? Thanks!

I believe you are correct about the refrigerators being standard in the deluxe resorts. Worst case is you arrive at your room, see no refrigerator and call and request one.

The other differences between a room and a DVC studio, besides the beds are:
1 - No kitchenette with microwave, toaster, dishes, etc.
2 - If you are staying on points, housekeeping is an additional cost, but if you are staying as a cash guest, you will receive regular housekeeping.
3 - Regular rooms and DVC units are housed in seperate buildings with the DVC rooms being a little further away from storm along bay - if that is important to you.

We're DVC members who just stayed in a BCV 2 b/r lock-off. Four teen girls stayed in the lock-off (studio) portion. I thought it was quite spacious! You walk in to a small entry with a shelf and peg rack on the wall. The bathroom had a closet, large sink area and the separate tub/shower/toilet area behind a door. Opposite that was the full kitchenette with micro, sink (plus sponge and dishsoap), dorm fridge, coffee maker, toaster, with paper products and long shelves to hold food supplies. In addition to the queen bed and sleep sofa (full size, btw) there is a round table and 2 chairs as well as the armoire with the TV, DVD player and 4 drawers for more stuff. We were on the 3rd floor and had a view of both Illuminations to the right and Wishes to the left while standing on the balcony (which also had 2 chairs and a small table).

One thing I noticed about the regular BC rooms though is that they also have a small padded bench that someone could sleep on.
