A Few JetBlue ?s

We are flying on Jetblue for the first time in two weeks. We have always flown Southwest so I have a few questions about Jetblue. When/How do we get our boarding passes? Can we print them off ahead of time? Can we bring/use our own headphones/earbuds for the TVs? What do they offer for snacks? Is there a cost? Thanks for the help!

Jetblue has become our new favorite airline! I like Southwest, but with Jetblue we can use the closest airport to us and we get to pick our seats in advance and not worry about checking in at 24 hours and/or purchasing early checkin. Southwest does allow you to change flights without incurring a change fee, though.

You can check in on jetblue.com 24 hours before your flight and print boarding passes. There is also a Jetblue iphone app that allows you to check in on your phone and the boarding pass is on your phone. There may be an android app, but I am not sure.

Each seat has its own TV. Bring your own headsets. Any headset that can fit into an iPhone, cell phone, etc will work. My kids thought it was so awesome to have their own TV. There are movies for rent, also. Jetblue is starting to put WiFi on their planes.

Non alcoholic drinks and snacks are complimentary. Here is the list of snacks.

Seats are comfortable (for airline seats) and each passenger gets one check in bag and one carry on bag complimentary.

We also like JetBlue and Delta. We can't stand Southwest though. They are almost always late (some friend flew in on them and they had to wait in the Tarmac fir almost two hours before they were allowed to get off the plane) and much more expensive than Delta or JetBlue. I also like assigned seats better than Southwest's first come, first serve policy.

If you do forget your headphones, they do sell them by the honor system outside the gates for $2.

Love Jetblue!!! The seats are roomy, the inseat tv's are fun and make the flight so much more enjoyable. The snacks are free...and you can actually get more than one!!!
I just checked in for my flight tomorrow. If you aren't near a printer, you can just get a boarding pass when you get to the airport. No problem.
