A Few Dining plan questions

If you are on the Reg. Dining plan, can you order these:

LeCellier Experience @ LeCellier

Prix Fixe 3 Courses Menu @ Chefs de France

and Famous Canyon Skillet @ Whispering Canyon

Also, if my DS (who would be 10) can't find something on the adult menu can he order from the children's menu even though he would have an adult TS credit?

When will the 2012 Participating Restaurant list be completely updated?

1. Yes. Appetizer included. No substitutions allowed. (At Le Cellier the 3 course menu is available at lunch only)

2. Yes. See above.

3. Yes.

4. Depends on the restaurant. There's recent reports that the Plaza won't allow anyone over 9 to order from the kids menu. Most restaurants generally allow it. As it's kind of a waste to use an adult credit to purchase a child's meal, if you don't want to try for an adult portion for him, pay cash for the kids meal and use the adult credits for extra meals.

5. The 2011 complete list had a publication date of 12/10/10 but was not publicly released until just before New Years. As no restaurant except Fulton's has ever dropped the dining plan, use the 2011 list for planning.

Thank you. I am only going to get the Dining plan if its free, otherwise I am just going to pay oop.

Oh, and thanks for the tip about paying oop for the kids meal, I thought everyone had to use their credits at dinner, I guess DH and I could use DS's credits, I never thought of that. This is the first time DS will be considered an adult.

Yes, if he orders a few kid's meals you will have enough adult TS credits for another meal. I'd book an extra TS (one you don't care if you don't go to) that way you have an ADR if you have enough credits left over. If you don't you can cancel.
