We are staying with a family in their timeshare at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa. But we're flying down a few days early. I have a Marriott certificate for 1 free night. We'll rent a car. We don't care where we go for those first few nights, (Thursday March 29-Saturday march 31st---then heading over to the resort).

Any suggestions on where to stay? We have 2 girls, 9 and 7. I currently have ressies with Courtyard Lake B. Vista. But then we thought..hey..what if we went to the coast and stayed?

Thanks All!!

Daytona is awesome. You can drive on the beach, park and walk. We found shells and Starfish. There are a million things to do.

I'm assuming this time of year it will be swamped with drunk college kids, though.

We just might stay in one of the value resorts on the disney grounds. Found a few good deals.

Can you use your Marriott certificate for any level or is limited to up to, say Level 4 (we got one of those once when we opened a Maririott credit card)? We're using Marriott points for a short (2-day) trip this summer and the Marriott Orlando World Center looks interesting. Haven't stayed before, but it looks close to WDW and the pool looks awesome!

I *think* though don't quote me on it that most Spring Breakers will be back in class by the time you are headed to FL. I believe that most Spring Breaks occur in the next three weeks (the week of the 5th, 12th, and 19th).
