a few ABD questions

I have seen a lot of comments about if Disney cancels an adventure, does this happen often? I am currently planning two possible ABD trips, one to surprise my DH, and one solo for me.

the solo trip doesn't concern me, because my job is very flexible and I can reschedule vacation easily, however his is not, so if the trip I plan for him gets canceled that could be an issue.

I have been researching the trips, and I know I want to surprise my DH for his birthday with a trip to Italy, will I need his passport information prior to booking or will mine be ok? I have a passport he does not yet, and I just want to make sure I can add that later once he has his passport. I am trying to be sneaky, and it will be hard to surprise him, if I am forcing him to get a passport.

Third, I am VERY interested in the Cambodia, Vietnam & Laos trip. I know my husband will not want to go on that one, I can't find anything on single supplements, does anyone know what that is?

thanks!
Jen

ABD has started guaranteeing certain departure dates for most Adventures.

You can find which dates are guaranteed here:

You do not need your passport info to book an Adventure. You will need it prior to travel.

ABD doesnt usually post single supplement pricing, but if you have a date in mind, I'd be happy to get it for you.

Also, please keep in mind that Dreams Unlimited Travel offers a booking bonus and an Amex gift card promotion. Those details can be found here:

If you have any questions or would like to book your Adventures, please dont hesitate to let me know.

I can be reached at Kevin@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com

Thanks!

Once you book your ABD trip, they will send you travel documents that have to be filled out that include traveler info, passport info, and flight info. They will give you a preferred date by when they would like the info back so that they can be prepared for your arrival.

If you call ABD, they can tell you how full a trip is. You can call them as many times as you like. They can also tell you, based on past experience, which trip dates may not go. The Italy trips are very popular, so you should be ok. Of course, nothing is guaranteed and they have until 70 days prior to the trip to cancel it. They won't do this unless it absolutely necessary.

OK sounds perfect. I am sure I will call a lot, I am just wanting to have it booked so I can make payments. It is going to be a Christmas present, since I told the hubby (gasp) no Disney this year, I want to go overseas. I figured this is a very good compromise :)
