A "Families Community" sub-forum?

Has anyone considered adding a Community sub-forum to the Families forum? The Theme Parks forum was starting to get bogged down with off-topic threads, and it got a Community sub-forum to compensate. Could that be done here as well?

The description of this forum on the main page is "Join our moderators as they offer tips and information for anyone visiting Disney with families of all types and ages" but to actually find any threads about visiting the World with kids and families, you have to wade through all the other threads that have nothing to do with Disney. And I know that some people are good about doing the "OT" thing, but most don't even bother.

I would love to actually be able to come in here and get ideas and tips for "visiting Disney with families of all types and ages." But I do get that people want a place to talk about general family stuff.

This board doesn't move very fast so it wouldn't seem to me that there would be enough "Disney vacation only" threads to keep separate boards going.

Actually I beg to differ. For years this board cruised on just fine ataying on topic. A few years ago it became overrun. I know I have asked for a seperate board a few times and so have others. I think the on topic threads have thinned out because people looking for Disney tip on Disney don't use this board as much anymore. Good Luck Dallas Lady.
