A & E, no FP+ available 60 days out !

Lately The Dibb has been showing that for a family of four the A&E FP's are typically gone for 3-4 days past the 60 day window. In other words, if you're arriving on a Sunday then you shouldn't even try looking for Monday - Wednesday. The later you look in your stay, the better your chances.

I gave searched for these A&E cancellation threads with no luck, unless they are past what I'm looking through what I'm looking for. Are they under the Attractions and Straegies boards or something else? Also is this helpful to on site guests only? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE!
They are under the Attractions & Strategies board.

This is a link to the April A&E Cancellation thread. It doesn't appear as though one has been started for May, so perhaps someone going in May could start it.

Thank you. And please forgive my bad grammar and spelling errors; clearly I should have gone to bed earlier.

Even at 1 am on our 60 day point with 3 days in the mk the only time we could get a&e was at 8 pm on our 3rd day in the mk
the only reason we are doing it is so we can b get pics with them for dgf nieces as they are big frozen fans in fact frozen was the first disney princess m o view they were allowed to see

I booked 2 days tonight at midnight as well for our trip. Got A/E for party of 6 on 5/17 and 5/16? I hope you get some. Did you try breaking up your party into smaller groups to get overlapping times? There is a good post on how to do this on www.easywdw.com I think. Link in Mesaboy's great FP+ thread in this forum. I think you would have to cancel all of your FP+ for that day and start over unless you can change the Cindy one person at a time, but not sure if you can do this. Hope you get them!!

Can I ask why you need 2 different days to do a character greeting? Maybe this is one reason other people can't get even one meet and greet? Maybe WDW should do what they do with ADRs and not allow someone to book more than one FP+ for the same attraction. Just seems a bit selfish to me and I can't understand why someone would need to meet them twice.

After I went to Disney once, I feel guilty every time I go back now. I'm selfish that way.

Really, do you think that is helpful to the OP? My question is legitimate. Why does someone need to do a character greeting twice in the same visit with the same character? Given that the A&E are so hard to come by, if I really felt the need to meet them, I would consider others before making more than one FP+ to do so.

Maybe because they like them? Do you honestly experience everything just once per trip?

And how exactly is your post helpful and constructive?

How does WDW do this with ADRs? You can definitely book the same restaurant more than once in your trip (even more than once in same day, in fact).

If I thought it would make my kids happy, I would book A&E every day of my trip if I could. Fortunately I think they will be happy seeing them once, but I do plan on making multiple Mine Train FP.

What? ADR's can be booked for any restaurant more than once per trip.

Wow, for our trip last month the were times available for both of our MK days for A and E, but it wasn't something we were interested in doing.

I was thrilled to be able to get the Mine Train for both of our days at the MK. I do not think Disney should allow you to only book a ride once in your trip. If you have multiple days in a park, then you should be able to pick what you want.

When we go to epcot test track is my sons fav ride. We are doing 2 days at epcot and have test track booked on both days. My son has asd and gets fixated on certain rides test track being 1 so I have a feeling we will be riding test track more than just our fast passes lol. I don't think Disney should limit to only picking each ride once for your fast passes. Although I don't really understand y people would want to meet the fast pass characters more than once on their trip. I'd rather use my fast passes for rides. Although this year we do have FPs for all the magic kingdom fast pass characters

I was trying for Wednesday May 13. Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet said in red letters "All Fast Passes have been distributed for the day".
The only other day we are going to be at MK during this trip is Saturday May 16, but we will be with other family members who don't have passes or room reservations, so we will be roughing it that day without Fast Pass for anything. Frustrating, but we are blessed to only be an hour away in the car (we live outside of Tampa) so we can drive up anytime and we will certainly be back many more times and have other chances to meet A & E.

They should purchase their tickets in advance. And even if they buy tickets same day, they can make FPs at the kiosks in the parks. If you have already made FPs, the CMs are really good at working to match them up for you.

This is what I'm nervous about. I can book FPs this Tuesday and I really, really, really want Anna and Elsa. I keep checking The Dibb obsessively. My original hope was to get the FP for our first park day, which had me really nervous. Then I changed my mind to try for the end of the trip which should be more realistic. Yikes. I hope it all works out.

My FP window opens tonight, and I'm obsessively watching the Dibb today as well. As of now, the day I want (also our first day at MK) still shows A&E availability, I'm hoping (begging, pleading, hoping, wishing) that it stays that way until midnight tonight. Wishful thinking I know. Maybe some pixie dust will come my way. And if we can't get it for our first day, we'll do our 2nd MK day and still be fine with that, I'm not too worried about getting one for our 2nd day...but I REALLY want one for our fist day. We'll see!
